Was in Jam-Sessions und Schulprojekten seinen Anfang nahm entwickelte sich durch die gemeinsame Leidenschaft zum Musizieren und das stetige Streben nach innovativen Melodien zu dem, was die Kombo heute ausmacht. KATER: is a three piece rockband with electronical and atmospheric influences. In their music as well as in their lyrics KATER are balancing between deliberate daydreaming and plain realism. Driven by contrasts in dynamics, a wide range of influences and the excitement to explore new sounds, the band’s sonic image is a synthesis of electronics and distorted delay riffs. Atmospheric songs paired with emotional lyrics and a hint of vintage vibes are equally part of bands repertoire as high tempo combined with rough and heavy tone sequences, creating what is the distinctive character of their music
